Hello July
We kicked of the 4th of July weekend with a puzzle and our first boat trip of the season. Both were awesome! I know I'm a geek.....I love puzzles! And I can't believe that Emily went all the way into the water....it was not too warm!

Growing or Teenager?
Or both? Last Monday Emily slept in until 10:50am! I went in at least three times to make sure she was still breathing. I guess the end of school, Disneyland trip, horse back riding and pool time caught up with her. Peaches loves to snuggle right in with Emily.

Pool Party in the Hood

A Whole Horse Place
Emily's year end girl scout activity that they voted upon was horse back riding. And it was awesome. The Whole Horse Place was a great experience. They were taught not just about riding, but how to care for the horse and they also had to scoop the poop! Emily loved it and wants to go back soon.

The Happiest Place on Earth!
It's Disneyland!! And California Adventure!! We just returned from a vacation which included those two parks in addition to Universal Studios. We had great time with the Moser family. Though the first two days were bloody hot weather it was a wonderful vacation. My favorite....Thunder Mountain Railroad, Screamin' California, Radiator Springs and the Frozen production. Emily's favorite.....Tower of Terror, Screamin' California, Space Mountain and the light parade. Chris's favorite hands down all time....Pirates of the Caribbean.

Garage Sale
Well our annual community garage sale fell on the last day of school along with a whole bunch of other events! But we were determined to participate in the garage sale in hopes of Emily earning some Florida money! Combined with my sister and Mandy's stuff we didn't do too bad.

Grayland
Our inaugural 2016 camping trip led us to Grayland beach. We had two great sunsets, some rain, a warm camp fire, kite flying, some ice cream and lots of running the toy car. A pretty good and relaxing trip.

Best Cat Ever
Yes we are blessed to have the best cat ever! This month she turned 12 years old. Peaches has brought a lot of joy to our family. We love our bub's.
Emergency Shelter?
It was a Girl Scout survivor camping weekend. Complete with whittling, fire starting, camping and emergency shelter building. We started the weekend with a tour of the Wild Felid Advocacy Center on Hartine Island. We ended the weekend with each team of girls having to make an emergency shelter. The shelters were tested by the adults throwing water on it while the girls were in it.
