State Capital

Wednesday was Emily's fifth grade field trip to the State Capital.  And I was picked as one of the chaperone's!  Even though I grew up in Olympia I learned a lot of facts.  State dance.....???  Square dancing!  Didn't even know that Washington had a state dance.  In the mock trial Emily was choose as one of the superior court justices.

A 40th to Remember

We celebrated in style for Mandy's 40th birthday.  A limo ride and dinner at the Purple Cafe and Wine Bar in Bellevue.  So fun!

February 16th

February 16th is a birthday filled day.  Uncle Ryan, Mandy and Ethan all share the same birthday!

Yesterday Emily was invited to celebrate Koldyn's birthday.  There, she got to see all sorts of cousins...second and third removed.  Here is Ms. Stella and Ms. Emily.  They were so cute sliding down the slides together at the bounce house party palace.

Helicopter

The only thing Emily asked for as a birthday gift was a remote control helicopter!  Of course Chris was all over that idea.  So here is her helicopter.  Pretty cool!!!

Eleven

Birthday!

Em didn't want a big birthday party celebration this year.  She wanted a sleepover on Friday with 2 or 3 friends.  Perfect!  It was a success.  And then we had the family over on Saturday night for dinner.  We did a photo booth and it was so fun!

Emily's Day

Today marks Emily's birthday.  E-L-E-V-E-N years old.  Eleven?  Did I say eleven?  I told her the other day "I can't believe you will be eleven soon." She said Mom "believe it I'm going to be eleven what's the big deal?" LOL
