Rachael hosted an amazing book club!  We sampled beers while eating home made pretzels and sausages with different kinds of mustard!

Benin

February 22 is World Thinking Day and every year on this day, Girl Scouts and Girl Guides around the world do activities and projects to celebrate international friendships and honor their sisters in other countries.  So yesterday Emily's troop attended a World Thinking event for her service unit.  The country they chose to highlight was Benin.  It's in Africa....about 1/2 the size of Washington state but double the population.

Let it Snow?!@#$

@#$(%* Snow.  Kind of put a damper on Emily's birthday party celebration Saturday night.  But the positive thing was it created a fun filled day on Sunday.  Kids and adults were out sledding, building snow people, constructing an igloo and snow ball fights. 

Meet our snow person, Pete.  Well that's what Emily named it.  I named it Newman and Chris calls it Lewis.  Silly huh?

Happy 10th Birthday Emily!

After our climbing adventure we hosted family over for dinner and a birthday celebration.  This birthday will be quite memorable.  It totally snowed on her birthday and on her birthday night celebration.

Grandma Sandy made Emily's cake...and it was awesome!  It was even zebra pattern inside the cake!  A huge hit!

Climbing Festivities!

For Emily's birthday this year she wanted to go rock climbing.  Off to Edgeworks Climbing gym with some of her friends....

WOW!

What better way to start off your birthday than to wake up to snow AND school is delayed two hours?  Emily was so excited.  Chris took the day off and took in treats to Emily's classroom.  Her choice....sugar cookies with thick frosting.  Then she came to my work and helped out.  We ended her birthday with dinner out at Mazatlan with the Boling family.  Happy Birthday!

Guess Who?

Guess who this is?  Emily Ann Moser! How can she be 10 years old?  Double digits, a decade old.  Emily blessed us and stole our hearts on February 7th, 2004 at 10:18am.  Happy Birthday Emily!  We love you all the much and beyond.  xoxoxo Mommy and Daddy!

Sleep Over Fun

Friday night Emily and I were invited to a sleep over with Auntie B and Kaitlyn.   The fun started with a super yummy dinner from Red Robin!  Then onto a movie, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2, complete with popcorn, ice cream and cookies.  The girls had a giggle fest trying to go to sleep that night and I must say not much sleep was had by any of us!  We woke up the next morning and took the girls to the bouncy house.  A great time and a huge thanks to Brandi and Kaitlyn for hosting.

Super Bowl Champs!

It's a great and awesome day in Seattle.  First Super Bowl Championship for Seattle Seahawks.  Not only did they win, it was a blow out!  Final score 43-8.
