Hodge Podge

This might be out of date order but here's a couple pictures from a couple weekends ago.  Pitching and putting at the golf course with the girls.  Then off to Deep lake for a book club event that included kiddos.  The two kids with the noodles are Taylor and Emily.

Gum Wall

Yes, the famous gum wall!  Mandy and I decided to take the kids and do something fun.  So we headed into Seattle for a tour of the gum wall, Pike Place market, the Wheel and the playground at the Seattle Pacific Center.  It was a beautiful day...the kind that makes you happy to call the Pacific NW home.  Thanks Tjossem family for fun memories!

24 Forever

We had the amazing opportunity to attend the retirement number ceremony of Ken Griffey Jr. at Safeco field on August 6th, 2016.  It was an awesome ceremony and a great game.  It was bittersweet as Chris was suppose to go but called out of town on work last minute.  So Krista joined me as my date.  Fun, fun times!

Golf Camp

Golf camp at High Cedars rocked.  Emily loved it and has the desire to learn more about golf!

Porter and Jeff's birthday

Meet Porter....Blake and Adrianna's dog that Emily fell in love with.  Well let's face it, she falls in love with any dog.  And yes, it's still a daily request for us to get a dog.  Anyway we had the pleasure of hanging out with the Boling family to celebrate Jeff's birthday.

Silly Kitty

Apparently we aren't paying enough attention to Peaches....either that or she is a wonder cat that loves to read!

2016 Chelan Trip

Another successful Chelan trip in the books!

Our first day on the boat...complete with a bucket of fries and feeding the ducks!

Ah cousin love....most of the time they are great but there is that 10% when they fight like siblings!

One of my favorite pictures...Emily is growing up so fast.  Here Chris is testing out his remote controlled 'toy' boat.

A Chelan trip is not complete without a snow cone from the snack shack.

Nor is a Chelan trip complete without a trip to the Winery!  The adult girls headed up there for a little birthday celebration for my sister.

The view never gets old.

Best photo bomb ever!!

Me and my girl on the boat.

It's rough being on vacation!

Our Chelan trip included a birthday party for Ms. Kaitlyn Ryan Pederson who turned 8 years old.  The kids and I made the cake and decorated it....it was a blast!

Chillin' after some paddle boarding and getting ready for some putt putt golf!

Don't mess with Emily when it comes to water sports!

Our last day...saying goodbye to the Condo and Chelan.  What a great ending to a wonderful trip.

Golf?

Em's been to the driving range a couple times and really enjoys it.  Here we went down to High Cedars and signed her up for golf camp.  While there we hit the driving range and then the putting green.  She's quite good at putting...very methodical!

Fun in the Sun

What better way to end the week than hanging out in your friends pool?

Bonney Lake Day Camp 2016

Emily has attended this camp for the past couple years.  This year she was too old to be a camper so she decided to became a PA-T.  Program Aid in training.  Basically a camp counselor in training.  It's a great program and one that required a lot of commitment.  She had a ball doing this and graduated to a PA for next year.  The fun thing was that Taylor was also a PA-T and that Kaitlyn attended the camp!  Emily said her favorite part was helping out the yellow group (1st / 2nd grade) specifically helping a little girl named Bella.  I'm proud of Emily and Taylor for doing this....some great experiences and life lessons learned.  Needless to say they were exhausted each day.
