Finally...Sun!
Last week we had absolutely beautiful weather and saw the sun many times! It felt so good and just made you smile, especially after the winter we had. Thanks to the Tjossem family for the impromptu relaxing evening on Friday night!

The last band concert of the year! Way to go Emily! A huge thank you to the Pederson family for making the trek from Maple Valley to support Emily. We celebrated with some ice cream at Wally's with the Tjossem family.

How?
Just seems like yesterday that Molli was born and now she is graduating from HS! I love this kind, smart, beautiful young lady to pieces. She is going to do great things! This picture was taken at her graduation party which we couldn't attend but were there in spirit. Way to go Molli! She officially graduates in 5 days!

And Camping We Will Go

And we are off camping at Grayland State Park with the Tjossem's, the Deitz's and the Johanson's. We took Luke with us; his first camping experience! When we asked what his favorite part of the trip was he replied "all of it!" Mine....flying a kite and sitting in the sun!

Happy Mom's Day
My day started out at kids church helping them make Mom's day crafts! Then we headed to Karena's to celebrate with desserts and tea. We ended the day with Emily doing more than four hours of homework (no joke). She was finishing up a group science project but the others in the group didn't do their parts. And for the record NOT a fan of the SBA testing. Hasn't been the best week in our house. Ahhh even on Mom's day there is not rest.

Cruising in the Plymouth headed to visit Papa Bike and Grandma Sandy. Chris put a new radiator in the car and wanted to test it out with a drive to his parents. So happy that Luke joined him!

Glasses

New glasses all around. Luke got glasses for the first time and he looks so handsome! Total epic Mom fail on my part....Emily's eye prescription changed three strengths! No wonder she was squinting at the TV. And this picture of Emily makes her look so grown up. She is beautiful inside and out!

Lions and Tigers and Bears

Oh and giraffes and kangaroos. As a reward for having good grades, attendance and positive behavior, the 7th graders were given a chance to earn a trip to the Woodland Park Zoo. And bonus.....I got to chaperone. I've chaperoned many a field trip and got to say this one was my favorite. I had a great group of girls...all respectful, kind and responsible!
